Hi, my name's Stephen Massey, MS, RASS, CC
First, I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my website; I'm the founder of Awakening of Clark County. I wanted to give back to my community and with the help of the Nehemiah Foundation, and other partners I was able to construct Awakenings, LLC of Clark County several years ago in 2015.
I hold a bachelor's degree in business administration and 2 master’s degrees in Mental Health counseling and Professional Coaching. I also am working on a Doctorate in Transformational Leadership. Some of the areas I have specialized in include addiction's coaching, Senior Status Advocacy, and trauma recovery as a Director of a Crime Victims' program I was entrusted to develop in 2016. I am a Commissioner with the State of Ohio and on special boards by Governor's appointment. I love my community and me, and my staff love to service all.
I have worked in the social service sector in Springfield since the 1990s; throughout this period, I have developed many skills and an extensive network of support. Throughout this period, I have been doing coaching, counseling, advocacy, facilitating and human service work. Also, I have experience working among the community’s many nonprofit and social service agencies. I am grateful for the amazing relationships I have with many church leaders here in Springfield.
My goal is to serve my community with the skills I have developed over the years through Awakenings, LLC. At this time, I am running as a nonprofit through the Nehemiah Foundation; however, we are now non-profit status and a stand-alone nonprofit.
